SUBMISSION as a wrapper
HONESTY & TRUTH as a sash
SOUND JUDGEMENT as a veil
WISDOM as a head gear
FAITHFULNESS as bangles
HARDWORK as a scarf
COMPASSION as a brooch
KINDNESS as earrings
SACRIFICE as a necklace
CHARITY & SERVICE as shoes
A SMILE as makeup
GENTLENESS as speech
PRAYER as her Fragrance

She is as Radiant as the Sun,
Her Love shines bright like the Moon
In the darkest part of the night
Her beauty is like all Nature  
Crafted in perfect form by God

Her partner is blessed and prosperous
Her children are favoured by God
Her home is never lacking
Her friends and neighbours marvel at her Capability.

She is worth more than precious jewels
Can be discovered by a man who mines
Prayerfully on his knees
Graciously in his speech
Lovingly by his actions


Such is the lady of virtue
To her partner, never blue 
To her God, always true.

'WHY ARE YOU COMING BACK HOME?'  Homecoming! Living in Ghana most of my life, I grew up with the belief that living abroad is the best thing that could ever happen to me. Why? Well, with the high unemployment rate of graduates, coupled with low salaries that keep most employees in debt irrespective of their qualifications, who wouldn't believe? I grew up in a family where those abroad were treated with more respect than the local relatives, oh yes, my parents included. So when my father got the opportunity to travel abroad, I also began to dream. Attitudes changed towards me and then finally my mother also got the opportunity to travel. Now I knew I had certainly hit the jackpot: Very soon I was going to bid Ghana goodbye and say hello to 'Greener Pastures' and I just couldn't wait for the day. I recently got in touch with an old friend and we had a very insightful discussion. She drew my attention to a very dead topic which instantly came alive in a bid to help a friend.
